About Edwina

Award winning author, Edwina Fort's story telling ability was birthed when her mother died leaving her orphaned at twelve. She told her first story to herself to sooth the pain of that great loss. It was at that time that she first experienced the burning need to write. No sooner could she finish a page before a classmate would take it and read it. Unknowingly to Edwina the same classmate would then pass it on until it managed to travel around the entire school. The result of which landed Edwina in the principles office where the principle proceeded to tell her that her story had captivated the the entire student body distracting them from their studies. Although she had to sit in detention for a week, she did it with a smile, knowing her gift had truly been born.
